Substituting one for another may change the peptide’s solubility profile, particularly for longer sequences, hydrophobic peptides, modified peptides, or peptides with specific salt forms.
For consistency, reproducibility, and batch comparability, only the recommended diluent system should be used unless an alternative solvent is specifically stated in the product documentation.
