IGF-LR3 1MG

IGF-LR3 1mg – Research Reference Material

≥99% Purity • HPLC-Verified • Batch-Tested

Overview

Peptiology’s IGF-LR3 1mg is a synthetic peptide reference material supplied for controlled laboratory, analytical and biochemical research.

IGF-LR3 is a modified analogue of insulin-like growth factor with a defined molecular structure. It is suitable for laboratory workflows involving peptide identification, receptor-binding analysis, assay development, molecular interaction studies and peptide-mediated signalling research.

Supplied in lyophilised form, this material is intended for professional research environments requiring consistent specifications, analytical traceability and dependable batch documentation.

Product Specifications

* Product Name: IGF-LR3
* Strength: 1mg
* Form: Lyophilised solid
* Purity: ≥99%
* Verification Method: HPLC
* Grade: Laboratory research reference material

Laboratory Research Applications

IGF-LR3 may be used in controlled research workflows involving:

* Peptide and receptor interaction analysis
* Molecular signalling assays
* Binding-characterisation studies
* Comparative peptide analysis
* Assay development and validation
* In vitro biochemical investigation

Its defined structure makes it suitable for laboratory studies requiring a characterised peptide reference material.

Storage and Laboratory Handling

IGF-LR3 is supplied in lyophilised form to support stability during storage and transport.

Store in a cool, dry environment protected from direct light, moisture and heat. Laboratory preparation and handling should be carried out using appropriate equipment, documented procedures and a suitable research-grade solvent.

Storage conditions following laboratory preparation should be determined according to the validated requirements of the relevant research protocol.

Important Notice

For laboratory research and in vitro use only.

This material is not intended for human or animal use, household use, food use or any form of personal application. It is supplied solely as a laboratory reference material for appropriately controlled research environments.

Reconstitution & Handling

  • Recommended solvent Refer to COA / product notes
  • Storage Store as directed in documentation
Important reconstitution notice: Unless the product page, COA, or batch-specific documentation states otherwise, Peptiology peptide products should only be reconstituted using bacteriostatic water supplied by Peptiology.

Peptides are chemically sensitive materials, and reconstitution behaviour can be influenced by the exact diluent used. Different diluents may vary in pH, ionic strength, preservative content, buffering capacity, osmolarity, dissolved gases, and trace impurities. Even small differences in these factors can affect how a peptide dissolves and behaves in solution.

From a chemistry perspective, pH is especially important because it can alter the ionisation state of acidic and basic amino acid side chains. This can change the peptide’s net charge, hydrogen bonding, electrostatic interactions, and hydrophobic association. If the local pH environment is unsuitable, the peptide may show cloudiness, floating particles, clumping, gel-like behaviour, aggregation, or precipitation.

Bacteriostatic water, sterile water, saline, acetic acid water, and buffered solvent systems are not chemically identical. Substituting one for another may change the peptide’s solubility profile, particularly for longer sequences, hydrophobic peptides, modified peptides, or peptides with specific salt forms.

For consistency, reproducibility, and batch comparability, only the recommended diluent system should be used unless an alternative solvent is specifically stated in the product documentation.
  • Do not substitute diluents unless specifically instructed.
  • Only use Peptiology-supplied bacteriostatic water unless stated otherwise.
  • Do not assume all peptides behave the same after reconstitution.
  • Visible changes may be caused by diluent incompatibility, pH shift, ionic effects, concentration effects, or peptide-specific solubility behaviour.
  • Peptiology cannot verify reconstitution compatibility where non-Peptiology diluents have been used.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
